What is Split Screens?

Split Screens is an annual festival celebrating the art and craft of TV. Reflecting a moment when television has never been more innovative or accomplished, the festival will showcase the best of our current golden age of scripted shows, with directors, producers, showrunners and cast appearing in person for in-depth discussions about making great TV. Split Screens will also premiere episodes of eagerly anticipated new shows.

Where does Split Screens take place?

Split Screens takes place at the IFC Center, located at 323 Sixth Avenue at West Third Street and the SVA Theater, located at 333 W 23rd St. For directions, please visit our Location page.

Split Screens takes place from Wed. May 29 – Mon. June 3

Where and when can I purchase tickets?

Tickets are now on sale and you can purchase them online or in person at the IFC Center box office, open daily 10:30am – 10pm. For more detailed information, please visit our Get Tickets page.

What is the discounted 3-ticket package?

Experience up to 3 of the events during this year’s Split Screens Festival at a discounted rate! This ticket pack will allow you up to 3 admissions in the festival program. You must complete your Ticket Pack purchase before you may begin to make your ticketing selections. Click here to purchase the package. IFC Center members can log in to access a special discounted Ticket Pack price. Please note that ticket pack redemptions cannot be made for events that are already sold out.

The event I want to see has gone rush! How can I get tickets?

If an event has gone rush, a limited number of tickets may be released 15 minutes before showtime on a first come, first served basis at the theater venue. Rush lines for sold out shows will form one hour before showtime at IFC Center.

I can’t make it to an event. Can I get a refund on my ticket?

Split Screens tickets can only be refunded in person, no later than an hour before the show’s start. Refunds for all screenings must be processed at the IFC Center box office. Refunds cannot be given by telephone or online, only in person. Refunds can only be given before a show has begun, not after.

Is there assigned seating for the festival events?

All seating is general – first come, first served, so make sure you arrive at the theater before showtime to line up for your screening.

Is there talent in person at every event?
